Now that we've covered what a mini tripod is and what to look for in one, let's take a closer look at the Neewer mini tripod.

Neewer Mini Tripod Review

My first mini tripod was a Manfrotto phone tripod. It was very small and stable but lacked advanced features that I needed for social media. After an extensive search for the perfect mini tripod, I purchased the Neewer Mini tripod.

The tripod exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Firstly, the tripod is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around for on-location shoots, and travel. Additionally, it is inexpensive (under $70) compared to other pro brands.

Pro Features

Arca Swiss Plate:

One of the standout features of the Neewer mini tripod is its Arca Swiss plate. This plate allows for easy and secure attachment of my camera, and quick release. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the tripod extends over 2 feet, making it versatile for different shooting scenarios.

360 Degree Ball Head

The 360 ball head on the tripod is made from aluminum. It feels very sturdy and adjusts smoothly when loosened. The ball head can also dip down 90 degrees because of the cutout at the base. Most older tripods lacked this feature.

Fluid Pan Head

One of my favorite things about the Neewer mini tripod is its fluid pan head, which is perfect for video work. The ability to smoothly pan my phone or camera while shooting video is incredibly important, and this tripod delivers.

Stability:

I was also impressed by the all aluminum body, which provides a solid and durable feel.

Overall, the Neewer mini tripod is an excellent option for photographers looking for a small, lightweight, stable, inexpensive, and versatile tripod. It's a great option for photographers and videographers looking to take their shots to the next level.
